Welcome to {2:42}

We’re glad you’ve stopped by!

It seems like this website has been a long time in the talking and dreaming, but short in the making, but it’s finally here and we couldn’t be more excited. {2:42} is the youth ministry at New Life Christian Fellowship in Fortville, Indiana. Students from grades 6 — 12 meet every Sunday night to hang out, worship God, and learn from his word what it means to be faithful disciples of Jesus. We’re seeking to truly live as we have been called to live and experience the fullness of life that Jesus spoke about in the book of John.

So Why the Website?

We built this website for students, parents, and anyone else who wanted to see what was going on. For students who are a part of {2:42} this site offers updates on events, devotional thoughts to help you grow in your relationship with God, and thoughts about what it means to be a Christian from the perspective of guest bloggers — thanks to the contributions of others from the group. For parents, the website is meant to help you keep in touch with what we’re doing. Lost that form for the upcoming trip? Download the pdf and always have it. Curious about what we talked about this past Sunday night? Check out the blog and see for yourself. Hopefully parents will feel like they’re more a part of the experience of their teens’ involvement. For everyone else, you can find all sorts of info out, and if you’re so inclined, find ways to pray for the group and support the students who attend.
